Come see Lakeview's own production of Pinocchio, directed by Studio East. 

Watch as a puppet comes to life and tries to be good so he can turn into a real boy. It's hard to be good when there are so many temptations...and it doesn't help that Pinocchio's nose grows every time he tells a lie.

The 5th grade leadership service team is hosting a diaper/baby supplies drive throughout the month of March. We are supporting Step By Step Maternity Support Services (stepbystepfamily.org). They are contracted with the state of Washington to provide home visits to support healthy pregnancies and post-partum care. Their nurses and behavior health specialists care for families in the north and south regions of Puget Sound. 

They are in need of newborn diapers, wipes, newborn pacifiers and board books for babies. 

The science fair was a huge hit. Thank you to all the students who participated and to their parents for supporting them. 

It was fun to see the different displays, from melting gummy bears to sprouting seeds. We have a school full of scientists!

A special thanks to our Lakeview parent, Laura Sabina and our 3rd grade teacher Ms. Brown for coordinating the event, and for all the volunteers who helped the fair run smoothly.
