Teachers and Staff Appreciation Week

Appreciation week is coming to Lakeview.

The PTSA appreciation committee is organizing the well-deserved Teachers and Staff Appreciation week. Check below all the fun daily activities they are preparing for our amazing teachers & staff:

Appreciation Week Activities:

Monday: Stock the Staff Lounge; students make "Thank You" hallway banner at recess.

Tuesday: Small gift for each teacher/staff.

Wednesday: No/low-cost student group gift for teachers and staff* - *details to be provided by room parents soon; After-school party at Chainline for all teachers/staff with raffle prizes.

Thursday: Lunch brought in.

Friday: Coffee Cart on site; room parents bring class gift; students bring back cards (blank cards going home Friday, May 5th in folders).

You can help us to make this week super special.

If you have an item you'd like to donate for the Teacher and Staff party raffle, please drop it off for PTSA at the front office. Item gift ideas: gift cards, candles, spa items, coffee (K Pods are used in the lounge), wine, fancy chocolates/snacks, etc.

Let's Get Ready!

Lakeview Elementary School's 2023 Spring Half-Marathon started and it's so fun to see all our Leopards moving!

We need lots of help scanning cards as the kids complete laps. It's a fun time for the parents, too! Sign up here.

Lake Washington Physical Therapy Fundraising Campaign:

Lake Washington Physical Therapy is doing a social media campaign to help the PTSA fundraise during the marathon.

They will donate money directly to our PTSA for every follower, subscriber or review they receive between now and May 5th.

Quick Reminders

Kindergarten Registration

If you have a kid that will be 5 years old by August 31st, 2023, please register NOW for Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.

Help the school plan ahead for teachers staffing, rooms and more.

The earlier register the better! Please spread the word to friends and neighbors.

Extra Snacks at home?

Drop them off at the front door on our Snack donation box!

Snack donations always excepted and very much appreciated! They go to help stock the student's snack pantry. (How about those snacks your kid decided they don't like anymore...?) ;)

Remember snacks should be nut free and individually wrapped.
