Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

Let's show how much we appreciate our teachers and staff.

We can't wait to celebrate and appreciate our amazing teachers and staff next week. The PTSA Appreciation Committee is working hard to prepare an amazing week with a different activity each day to demonstrate how much we care and how thankful we are for our teachers and staff.

This Friday, May 5th, your child will bring home a blank card in their take home folder. Please have them decorate it and write a message for their classroom teacher and return it to their teacher on Friday, May 12th.

If you need extra cards for specialists, assistants or other treasured staff, please pick up extra cards located at the top of the raffle donation box at the school entrance area.

Appreciation Week Activities:

Monday: PTSA Stocks the staff lounge with goodies and hang up a "Thank You" banner made by kids in the hallway.

Tuesday: PTSA provides a small gift card for each teacher and staff member.

Wednesday: PTSA brings in coffee cart in AM for all Lakeview staff and hosts an after-school party at Chainline for all teachers/staff including donated raffle prizes.

Thursday: PTSA provides lunch for all Lakeview staff!

Friday: PTSA provides gifts for non-class staff. Room parents bring a class gift for teachers and organize flowers or No/low-cost student group gift for teachers and staff; students bring the cards they decorated (blank cards go home Friday, May 5th).

You can help us to make this week super special.

If you have an item you'd like to donate for the teacher and staff party raffle, please drop it off for PTSA at the front office. Ideas include: gift cards, candles, spa items, coffee (K Pods are used in the lounge), wine, fancy chocolates/snacks, etc.

Lakeview Spring Half-Marathon

Our amazing Leopards are rocking the half-marathon!

Can you believe the Lakeview Elementary's 2023 spring half-marathon is already half over? It's so fun to see all our Leopards moving! In 7 days, they have run more than 3,100 miles. Way to go Leopards!

Half-Marathon Make-Up Session

This Friday, May 5th, from 8:45 to 9:05AM there is a special marathon make-up session for kids who were absent at school during the event.
