Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

We love our teachers and staff!

We are halfway through Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, and the teachers and staff have been enjoying the break room treats, the "Thank You" hallway banner and gifts showered on them by the PTSA.

Remember to have your child decorate the blank card that was sent home with them last Friday for their teacher.

If you need extra cards for specialists, assistants, or other treasured staff, please pick up extra cards located at the school entrance area.

Please have them bring it to school this Friday 5/12.

Lakeview PTSA General Meeting

Join us for the last PTSA meeting of the year.

The school year is almost over, but we still have much to tell you about the PTSA's plans for the rest of the school year.

This is your chance to share your voice, participate, and bring ideas.

The link to the meeting will be sent on Thursday, May 18th via email and social media.

We would love for you to join us!

Lakeview Half Marathon

The half marathon concluded last Friday with our Leopards running over 4,300 miles. That's over 75 full marathons!

A huge THANK YOU to the many volunteers who helped make this a fun event for the kids. From those who scanned laps and cheered the kids on, to the classroom volunteers who put together necklaces with sneaker beads, to the teachers who helped coordinate and support behind the scenes - it took a lot of help, and we appreciate all of it.

We'd also like to thank all the business sponsors and families who donated money to the PTSA as part of the half marathon fundraising campaign. We are grateful for our wonderful community!

And last but not least, we want to give a big THANK YOU to Erin Kaufman, Alison Klika and Susan Young for organizing and putting together this event. They were there every day helping out and ensuring everything was working.

Without them, this event would not have been possible.Congratulations Leopards - way to go!
