Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
What a week!
Thank you, Lakeview Community, for an amazing week where teachers and staff were showered with love & appreciation.
The week started stocking the break room with breakfast treats and snacks and "thank you" messages by the kids in the hallway. On Tuesday they received a card of gratitude with a gift card. On Wednesday they had fresh brewed coffee to start the day, followed by a beverage outdoors on a gorgeous sunny day, with raffle prizes. Thursday was yummy tacos for lunch. The week ended with the class gift, a succulent, and tons of cards made by the kids.
Thank you to all the parents that helped throughout the week with the breakroom, donating treats, raffle items, etc.
And last but not least, thank you to our amazing Appreciation Week Committee: Yashodhra Painumkal, Sabrina Hetland, Amy Huff, Jill McGovern, Eva Chow, Andrea Patzer, Jennifer Davis, Gemma Aronchick, & Grace Brown for all the planning and effort.
Thank you again for making this a special week to all our Lakeview teachers and staff, after all the hard work they do to have a happy and bright school.

An amazing program is returning to Lakeview next year, thanks to our art director to be, Sabrina Hetland. We have a message from her to our community:
"My name is Sabrina Hetland, and I will be the new art director for Lakeview next school year. My job is to revive art at Lakeview. I have big goals next year and need a team to help bring these ideas to life. I'm looking for enthusiastic, art loving parents who are willing to help dream, plan, and help with events. Lakeview Yearbook - Last chance!
On June 9th, yearbook orders will arrive and students will get the opportunity to sign each other's yearbooks. We want everyone to have the same opportunity.
In response, the PTSA has ordered a limitednumber of additional yearbooks for parents to purchase, until June 9th - or until they sell out.
