Lakeview's Annual Science Fair 2023
One of Lakeview's favorites events is happening on March 2nd 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
Science Fair is an opportunity for Lakeview students to ask big questions, conduct research, and make exciting discoveries. This year will be other activities like Food trucks, Insect Safari, Nature Vision and more... Join us!
All Lakeview students are welcome to participate.
How to participate:
- By 02/10, choose your topic, and return the yellow form distributed by your kid teacher, or fill this online form. Your topic needs to be testable using the scientific method, see steps 3 below.
- 2/15 Display Boards are distributed.
- 2/11 - 2/28 Run your project, fill in your board.
- Write down your question and hypothesis or prediction: What's going to happen.
- Gather your list of materials.
- Run the experiment and record your results.
- Write your conclusion or analysis. How does the hypothesis compare to the results?
- Email Ms. Brown your picture with you working on your project. Kindly add caption with name and project title. We will show it on the projector.
- 3/1 Bring your board to school.
- 3/2 Come to the Science Fair. Pick up your ribbon, win prizes and... HAVE FUN!
