Get ready for a day of fun at the Lakeview Carnival on Sunday, June 2nd from 1-4pm! Bring your family, friends and neighbors to join the fun! Everyone is welcome!

We'll have games, prizes, bouncy houses, face painting, and food trucks to keep you fueled up for more fun!

Math Competitions - the results are in!

For the Spring Noetic Math Contest, 39 Lakeview students won medals (top 10% of all participants) and 28 won ribbons (top 50%). 👏 Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade team scores placed in the top 10% of all participating schools and Lakeview won 3 team achievement plaques! 3rd grade won 1st place and 4th grade came in 3rd! Winners names are published on the Noetic Math website.

Math Kangaroo honors students who make the top 20 scores. Winners names are published on the Math Kangaroo website. 22 Lakeview students made the top 20 nationally, and four 4th graders had the top 3 scores nationally and won medals.

Well done to all our students 🎉 who participated! A huge thank you to Frances C. for bringing these opportunities to Lakeview and to our countless volunteers who made these competitions possible. We are excited to continue supporting STEM next year!

Ready for an egg-citing time?

Get your contraptions ready! The Lakeview Egg Drop will take place on Monday, June 3rd from 1-3pm at the lower parking lot.

Lakeview Field Day is on Friday, June 14th!

Field Day is about being active, cheering on your classmates, and having fun outside. Each grade will have just under an hour for Field Day to participate in fun team-oriented games and enjoy a snack at the end.

May is Arts in Education Month in WA state. LWSD recognizes that the arts can transform our schools into havens of creativity and exploration - places where students want to learn, teachers want to teach and all learning community members are more engaged and motivated. Thank you to all the LWSD staff who help bring the arts to our students. View the LWSD proclamation.

This past year, we revived the art room with the new Creator's Lab. Our students explored new ideas and unleashed their creativity. The art lab gave them space to use their imagination and have fun.
