The Be SMART framework is designed to help parents and adults normalize conversations about gun safety and take responsible actions that can prevent child gun deaths and injuries.
We have joined with Peter Kirk Elementary to ask Moms Demand Action to come to our community and discuss this important topic.

Thank you to all the families who are participating in our next Lakeview Multicultural Night. There is still time if you want to join as. You can partipate in many ways:
join a parade behind your country's flag
share a special dish of food
wear clothes that reflect your culture
make a poster representing an aspect of your culture.
perform a song, dance, poem, etc.
...or just show up and enjoy the celebration!
Please reference the blue sheet sent home with your student to sign up for any of the above. The blue sheet isn't required to participate; it is just to give us a general idea of participation.
Also, we are still looking for 3 or 4 volunteers willing to help organize the parade. It's a short task but necessary to help the event run smoothly. If you are willing to help, please contact us.
Science Fair
Lakeview's Annual Science Fair 2023
One of Lakeview's favorites events is happening on March 2nd from 6:00 - 7:30pm in the Lakeview gym.
The Science Fair is an opportunity for Lakeview students to ask big questions, conduct research, and make exciting discoveries.
Friendly reminder, if your Leopard is interested in participating, choose the topic and return the paper yellow form (or complete the online one) by Friday 02/10.

Winter Enrichment Classes
Don't miss the chance!
Registration is open for the new Spanish language enrichment sessionon Wednesdays and Thursdays. The new session begins in March and is open to beginning and intermediate students.
The Friday afternoon Mad Science class has spots available for budding scientists. Tuition will be prorated for new students.
