Don't be scared to Host a Trunk!
Get ready for one of Lakeview's most beloved events: Trunk or Treat will be on Wednesday, October 30th from 6-8pm! This rain-or-shine event will be spooktacularly fun!
Enjoy the Glow in the Dark Playground, Lakeview Leopard Concessions and Coffee Stand with fantastic fall drinks and sweet treats for kids and adults!
There's still time to:
1. Donate 1-2 bags of treats to the Halloween Box located outside the front entrance.
Room parent volunteers serve as liaisons between Lakeview PTSA and your student's teacher. They're valuable resources for connecting with other parents, sharing classroom updates, and raising funds for the class parties and teacher gifts given on behalf of the class.

As one of the schools that participated in the LWSF Inclusive Libraries Grant process last year, Lakeview Elementary, was able to expand its library collection by adding 144 biographies that better reflect the school’s student demographics and provide broader representation of race, gender, and disability.
"I feel fortunate to pursue the Lake Washington Schools Foundation's Inclusive Libraries Grant to provide our students with titles that not only allow them to find themselves in books, but also learn about others from different backgrounds."
—Kristin Luscher, Lakeview Elementary School Librarian
Congratulations to Ms. Luscher - thank you for bringing these wonderful opportunities to our students. To learn more about the LWSF Inclusive Libraries Grant, click here.
