The City of Kirkland has offered to come to Lakeview Elementary to give a presentation on their work on Permanent Supportive Housing and answer questions from the Lakeview community. Come learn about the project taking place at the building previously occupied by La Quinta in the Lakeview/Houghton Neighborhoods.

Calling all 1st & 2nd graders — join the Lakeview Primary Choir for Spring 2025!

Rehearsals: Thursdays, starting March 20th at 8:20 AM in the Music Room

Concert: May 29th at 6:00 PM in the Lakeview Gym
Fee includes a choir t-shirt!

PTSA member registration opens February 26, followed by general registration on February 28 via the Lakeview PTSA website. 

Open to grades 1–5 (grade 1 students will compete in grade 2 group) the contest challenges students to solve 20-word problems in 45 minutes. It will be held in person using paper and pencil, with students providing numeric answers. The registration fee is $16.

Spring Contest Dates:

• April 7, 2025 (After school): 2nd & 4th Grades
• April 8, 2025 (After school) 3rd & 5th Grades

We’re sad to share that the District has canceled Band & Orchestra program for 4th and 5th graders starting Fall 2025.

However, we’re actively exploring ways to continue Band as a parent-run program, aiming to keep it as similar as possible.
