Curriculum Night & Ice Cream Social

We have a new class: Hip Hop Dance (Grades 2-5) on Thursday after school class, taught by the Dance Troup Director for the WNBA's Seattle Storm.
We still need chaperones for the Street Hockey on Tuesday afternoon, and the Hip Hop class on Thursday afternoon. Volunteer as a chaperone and your child’s class is FREE!
Reflections - Explore the Arts and Express Yourself!
Does your student love to express themselves through art, dance, film, writing, music, or photography?
Now’s their chance to shine in the PTA National Reflections Program! This year’s theme is “Accepting Imperfection…”, and we can’t wait to see how their creativity brings it to life.
Attention! Reflections Workshop:To help get those creative ideas flowing, join us for our Reflections Workshop on Friday, October 4th at 3:45 PM at Lakeview Elementary. It’s a great opportunity to get inspired, brainstorm, and receive expert guidance to kickstart their project!

Creator's Lab is Back but we Need your Help!
This year, your child has the chance to participate in another year of Creator’s Lab, a program that brings creativity and art into the classroom. However, this amazing opportunity depends on parent volunteers, to be an art docent in each class. Without enough volunteers, some classes will miss out on this extra art experience.
You don’t need to be artistic, just bring your enthusiasm! The commitment is only once a month. Each month, you’ll receive a simple, easy to follow lesson plan to guide the class.

Get Set for the First Lakeview Fun Run!
Our Fun Run is a wonderful opportunity for students to invite friends, family, and neighbors to support them as they work toward raising money for our school. This event brings our community together for fun while supporting important programs at Lakeview.
This is our only other fundraising event for the year (outside of the Donation Drive) to reach our combined total fundraising goal of $74,000.
Proceeds go directly to the PTSA General Fund, which provides resources like school supplies, field trips, teacher stipends, and programs that ensure Lakeview remains an inclusive and equitable school, such as Pantry Packs, Enrichment Scholarships, and much more!
