This year Lakeview Elementary and Lakeview PTSA joined together to send our current 5th Graders to Outdoor Camp, after state funding cuts left us with a budget gap. Our students enjoyed three unforgettable days at Cedar Springs Camp—exploring nature and building confidence with activities like studying the local ecology, archery, rock climbing, building fires, and teamwork challenges.
Now that our current fifth graders have returned from their adventure, we’re turning our attention to next year. To help fund the 2026–2027 5th Grade Camp, our current fourth graders are hosting a Brown Bear “Beary Clean” Car Wash fundraiser. While 4th grade students are leading this effort, families and students from all grades are welcome to participate by selling or purchasing car wash coupons. Every purchase helps support next year’s camp experience.
Fundraiser Details
- Coupons: $12 each — good for one (1) Beary Clean car wash at Brown Bear (a $13.24 value including tax)
- Sale period: April 3 – May 1
- Distribution: Coupons will be ready for pick up, distributed, or mailed the week of May 4
- All profits go directly to the 5th Grade Camp Fund
- All sales are final
- The 10 students who sell the most tickets, will get to participate in a pizza party with Principal Williams, Ms. Lervick, Mr. Owens, Ms. Luscher, and Ms. Brackett!
