- Reminders
- Sign-up for Membership Toolkit - for news, helpful reminders, and school, class, and community connections! Meli does a great job in making sure the content is always up–to-date!
- Setup Amazon Smile with “Lakeview Parent Teacher Student Association” for both web and phone. We will then get a kick back from your Amazon purchase. (Program ending Feb 20)
- PTSA Recap and Thank You to those leading the effort!

- Spirit Wear - PTSA provided a new t-shirt to every student!
- Store will open again in the Spring for another spirit week (TBD)

- Next one is Feb 6 at 3:50pm - 4:30pm (or maybe 5pm because it is so much fun)

- Jan 24-27 | Book Fair (during teacher conference week)

- Proceeds go to Lakeview to purchase new books for the library
- Feb 9 at 7pm | BeSMART Event (joint event with Peter Kirk)
- Parents to normalize conversations about gun safety and take responsible actions that can prevent child fun deaths and injuries

- Feb 23 | Multicultural Night
- Lakeview’s Equity Team currently planning, stay tuned for updates and how to participate from Marianne Williams
- Mar 2 at 6pm - 7:30pm | Science Fair (Ms. Brown and Laura Ono)
- Required for 3rd graders, open to all students
- Choose a topic, request a board, take time to conduct your experiment and document it.
- Stay tuned for more updates
- Prizes will be available per grade, except 3rd grade, each class will get
- ASK: Any local STEM companies can donate an item would be great. Looking for about 10 prizes
- End of April / early May | Marathon (Susan Young, Erin Kaufman, Alison Klika)
- Will need a rep in each class to help with bead distribution
- Fun, active event for the whole school
- Approximately 3-week timeframe
- April 17-21 | Dance Week (Ms. Bracket and Mr. Owens)
- Apr 21 Family Dance Night (Krysten Hendershot)
- Early June (Sat) | School Carnival
- Will need help staffing games and bringing fun to all the kids and families. Let us know if you are interested

- Yearbook (Anoush Agahi and Violet Tsuchida)
- High quality yearbook with fun photos of all Lakeview kids
- Presales will open in March
- Will be high-quality, in color, professionally designed for $20
- Primary Choir for 1st and 2nd Graders
- Thursdays mornings at 8:30am starting Mar 23
- Concert in late May (maybe around May 18)
- PTSA pays Ms. Bracket a stipend to teach activity
