Art Walk - Thu, Nov 21st: We need your help for the upcoming Art Walk! Volunteers are needed for setup, assistance during the event, and cleanup. Sign up here to volunteer.

 

Hearing & Vision Screening: The Lakeview PTSA is partnering with our school nurse Shirly to help administer the annual Lakeview Hearing & Vision Screening on Thursday, December 5th from 8:45 am - 1 pm. Click here to sign up.

 

Winter Wishes: Interested in working with Lakeview's School Counselor to fulfill Winter Wishes for students at our school who could use some extra cheer? A link for an Amazon Wish List will be out mid November. 

    

Game Night: Game night will be happening in January. Volunteers will be needed. Check back here or watch your Leopard Tales for more details. 

 

Book Fair: The book fair will be January 28-31. It takes many volunteers to run this. There are 1 and 2 hour slots usually between 8 am and 5 pm. Mark your calendars and see if you can spare an hour or two (or more!) during winter conferences to help out with the book fair. A sign up genius will be out closer to the event. 

 

Multicultural Night: We are in need of a school liaison for this event. If you can fulfill this need to help this event happen, please email volunteers@lakeviewptsa.org 

 

Pantry Packs (One-time or Ongoing)

Provide weekend food packs for food-insecure families at Lakeview. Volunteers are needed to pick up food and distribute food to Lakeview classrooms.  Contact: volunteers@lakeviewptsa.org

 

Lunch and Recess Volunteering (One-time or Ongoing)

Supervise at your child's lunch hour and recess. It's an insightful peek into the Lakeview lunch hour experience! Look out for the twice monthly ParentSquare messages from Mr. Hennings.

 

Kids are waiting - LINKS Lunch Buddy Mentors Needed at Lakeview Elementary!
Do you have one hour a week you can share with a child? Become a LINKS Lunch Buddy mentor! Mentors come during school hours once a week and spend the lunch hour in a pre-assigned area to eat, play games, make crafts, talk, go to recess, and do other agreed-upon activities. Help us provide social-emotional support to elementary students who need a little extra one-on-one attention. Please share with your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
